Unacceptable Delays - Six-Month Wait for Schengen Visa Appointment
On January 10, 2025, my family and I, a total of three people, applied for a tourist visa through iDATA, and we have been waiting for an appointment for six months now. We have previously received Schengen visas from Germany multiple times, and this situation is completely unacceptable. It feels unfair and disheartening to face such delays despite having a clean travel history. Who gave you the right to treat us like citizens of a third-world country? I genuinely do not understand. We demand that this application be finalized as soon as possible and that our visa appointment be scheduled without further delay.
As of August 4, 2025, I received the appointment email and finally got my appointment. Hopefully, you will receive it soon as well.
I'm writing a bit late, but I wanted to mention it. As a family of three, we received our passports 15 days after submitting them, and our 1-year multi Schengen tourist visas were approved. Our visa started as of today. I hope all friends waiting for a visa will have the same luck, God willing.
