Months-Long Wait for German National Visa via iData
The German National Visa processed through iData can be scheduled for appointments within 4 to 8 weeks, according to the company's website. However, upon reviewing the complaints, it becomes clear that individuals have been waiting for months. It was widely reported that the visa system had undergone significant changes and had become more efficient. Therefore, despite my hopeful anticipation, I applied late on April 10th, but I still haven't received an appointment date. I feel incredibly frustrated and disappointed as my job contract's start date has already passed, my accommodation is all set, and yet everything is going to waste due to the current circumstances. The German company has also experienced the impact of this situation. I reported the issue to the embassy, but unfortunately, there has been no change. I kindly ask the German Embassy and iData to provide comprehensive information regarding application timelines in order to avoid any additional inconvenience.
Over 100,000 people receive services from iData annually. Despite currently charging over 1200 lira per person for service fees plus exorbitant shipping costs, they do not address any complaints. The grievances people experience are clearly evident from the topics here.
Unfortunately, 2 months will have passed in 5 days, and I still haven't been able to get an appointment date. The 4 to 8 week appointment period mentioned is a figment of the imagination.

We have entered the month of August and still no response; the long waiting times have really worn us out.
It's January 3rd and I'm still waiting to get an appointment. I've truly become miserable from waiting so long, it's a very difficult process... If I can get an appointment, I will "definitely" add information about the day, date, etc. Stay tuned.
On 14.11.2024, I received an email saying fill out the form within 10 days or your application will be canceled. I filled it out, and today on 13.03.2025, I received the same email again. I filled it out and sent it again. 11 months have passed, and I guess we can say it has definitely become 12 months now, but still no appointment has been scheduled. I have lost a lot of time, I am sorry.
It's been 12 months, and even a week will pass, and I still haven't been able to get an appointment. I never thought I would wait 12 months for an appointment just to get an appointment for the 51F equivalency completion visa. I am truly devastated financially and emotionally in these 12 months...
After 12 months, I was able to get an appointment for one month later, and the result also takes between 1 and 3 months. I hope everyone can see and benefit from this; I was not aware of these delays and waited for an appointment every day. For your information, it takes 12 months to get a 51F visa appointment in Istanbul.
