iData Germany Schengen Visa Appointment Still Not Assigned

On December 25, 2025, we requested an appointment through iData for my mother to apply for a German Schengen visa. Approximately nine months have passed since then, but the application still shows as “awaiting assignment” in the system, and no appointment date has been scheduled.

During this time, we had to cancel my mother’s travel plans to Germany. I am her daughter and live in Germany, and my mother only wants to visit me. Considering that she has also previously obtained a visa from Germany, we do not find it reasonable in any way that she has been unable to receive an appointment for nine months.
