iData Germany Tourist Visa Appointment Delayed for 10 Months

On November 14, 2025, I submitted an application through iData in Istanbul Altunizade to obtain an appointment for a German tourist visa. Even though approximately 10 months have passed, no appointment has been assigned to me and I have not received any information or updates.

Because I was aware that the process can take a long time and that no effective solution would likely be provided, I did not separately contact iData or the German Consulate. However, the fact that I have been unable to receive an appointment for such a long period has forced me to postpone my travel plans indefinitely and has caused me significant inconvenience. I request that appointment processes for German tourist visa applications be handled within reasonable timeframes. For my existing application, I request that an appointment be scheduled urgently and that I be provided with a clear explanation regarding the reason for this delay.
