My Hyundai Ioniq 5 Has a Tail Light Crack
On May 30, 2025, I purchased a brand-new Hyundai Ioniq 5 from Nev Oto, and despite no impact, collision, or external factor, a thin and uniform crack appeared on the tail lights. About 15 days after delivery, when I washed the car for the first time, I noticed water accumulating inside the tail lights. Given the shape of the crack, I believe it would not have occurred if I had hit something. Moreover, water continues to accumulate every time I wash the car or when it rains. I immediately reported the issue to Nev Oto, but they claimed it was user error and refused to cover it under warranty, instead charging me ₺55,000. However, my car is still under warranty, and I believe this problem is due to a manufacturing defect and that the tail light was delivered to me already cracked. My license plate number is 34 NGH 241, and I am requesting a free replacement of the part under warranty.
