I recently purchased the Huawei Nova 12i and I am extremely disappointed with the overall experience.
Because Huawei is restricted from partnering with Google, this phone lacks native Google support, causing constant issues.
While the GSpace app is pre-installed to allow Google apps to be downloaded, it forces me to watch ads just to open any app.
The AppGallery does offer apps like Instagram, but I still encounter problems. For instance, my Instagram account was closed and I couldn’t reopen it on this device.
Additionally, when trying to use an IP camera monitoring app, I have to restart the app multiple times just to get it to work, often receiving error messages.
On top of all this, the camera is lacking — it doesn't even include a proper lens for certain features, and I can’t even copy and paste text as easily as I could on my old Huawei device.
Compared to the older Huawei phone I used before, the Nova 12i’s performance is far worse.
It’s extremely frustrating that a newer and supposedly better model performs so poorly.
