I purchased the Huawei MatePad 11.5 with high expectations, but I’ve been deeply disappointed by its performance. From the moment I started using it, the tablet has suffered from constant freezing issues. Most of the time, apps crash as soon as I open them or don’t launch at all.
The GBox app, which was preinstalled and supposedly meant to help run Google services, is the main culprit. It constantly throws errors and crashes, making it impossible to use essential apps. I can’t even access the Play Store anymore—it either fails to load or won’t open at all.
None of this was disclosed at the time of purchase. Had I known that GBox would be so unstable and that Google apps wouldn’t function properly, I never would have bought this device.
Huawei, I expect immediate support. Fix the GBox compatibility issues or provide a functional alternative so users can access the apps they rely on. This tablet is not delivering on its promise, and you need to address it now.
