HP Overcharges For Laptop Battery Replacement
I entrusted my laptop to HP service for routine maintenance and checks 12 days ago (May 3, 2024). While it was returned the next day under warranty, a tedious and costly process unfolded once the warranty expired. They demanded exorbitant fees of ₺1,250 for maintenance and ₺1,837.20 for battery replacement. Accepting these fees, expecting swift service as during the warranty period. However, HP took about a week to approve the payment. The service stated they were awaiting approval from the Netherlands and couldn't proceed with any work. This process was incredibly frustrating and suffocating. Even after payment approval, they said they awaited part approval from the Netherlands. After waiting for several more days, I contemplated canceling, but was told to wait for HP's cancellation approval. Eventually, after over 10 days, I received my laptop back without any maintenance done. Now, I'm awaiting HP's payment to be credited to my account, which is yet another tiresome policy, expecting it within 30 business days. If you can't provide the service, it's best to withdraw from the Turkish market.

He says that they have provided information about the issue, but there is nothing in terms of solutions. I am knowledgeable about the issue as well; if I weren't knowledgeable, why would I write a complaint? I strongly reject your email response, which suggests that you think you have resolved the issue just because we called. Give me my money back, find solutions that will make your service faster. This is not the first time I have encountered this; your maintenance service is so inadequate that I am sure this happens with every HP product whose warranty has expired.
