I bought an HP Omen 17 CB1012NT laptop in March 2021. It cost me $2,000. Since I bought it, I've been dealing with problems with the camera on this device. The quality is really bad, like only 240 pixels, even though it was supposed to be 720p. A lot of light is also coming through the corners of the screen. It's been a real hassle. I didn't use the laptop much for these reasons, so I sent it in for service in February 2023 while it was still under warranty. Even though I sent my camera in for service two times while it was still under warranty, they couldn't fix the image problem and light leakage issue. They even replaced the panel twice, but it didn't help. To make matters worse, the laptop came back from being repaired with a screw missing on the outside. Also, around a month and a half ago, the left speaker stopped producing sound, and now only the right speaker is functioning. This laptop has been a total nightmare when it comes to customer service and how well it's made. So, my keyboard's space key sometimes gets stuck and keeps typing without stopping, and I've noticed that certain games have stuttering problems. It's really affecting my ability to get things done. Now that the warranty has expired, I'm not sure what to do next. HP has been a big letdown. I had a Dell laptop before, and it worked perfectly for 11 years. Because Dell laptops weren't available at the time due to changes in currency value, I chose this HP model instead, and now I really wish I hadn't. According to previous cases, laptops, televisions, refrigerators, and similar products are typically expected to last for around 10 years according to the Turkish Commercial Code. The warranty that lasts for 2 years only includes repairs that are free of charge. Just a friendly reminder that you're in charge of important tasks for 3 years and tasks that might cause some inconvenience for up to 10 years. Based on the temporary Article 3 of the Law on Judicial Courts No. 6100 and Article 440/III-1 of the Law on Civil Procedure No. 1086, I think we can sort this out without going to court and find a solution.
