Holiday Inn Express Manisa Failed to Provide My Confirmed Reserved Rooms

On August 11, 2026, at approximately 3:30 PM, I made a reservation by phone with Holiday Inn Express Manisa for two rooms: one double room and one twin room with two separate beds. However, when I arrived at the hotel with my family at around 7:00 PM that evening, the front desk employee, Mr. T****, told me that there were no beds available and that our rooms were not ready.

Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was met with an unserious and dismissive attitude, including a response along the lines of, “We’re sorry, this cannot be possible.” Traveling all the way to the hotel with my family only to face such an unexpected situation at the entrance caused us significant inconvenience and embarrassment. Having to experience this situation in front of my family was extremely distressing and left me feeling overwhelmed.

I had specifically requested a room with separate beds, yet the hotel completely failed to accommodate the reservation. In addition, the hotel’s location in a mountainous area and the entrance being poorly maintained and appearing almost like a junkyard further contributed to my negative impression of the property. The overall condition and approach gave me the clear impression that the hotel was not placing sufficient importance on its guests or service quality. I do not believe this level of service is consistent with the Holiday Inn Express brand.

I request that the inconvenience and distress I experienced be taken seriously and that the hotel’s reservation and guest-arrival processes be thoroughly reviewed. I also request, if deemed appropriate, a written explanation and suitable compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Finally, I ask that the necessary measures be taken to prevent other guests from experiencing similar problems in the future and to ensure that confirmed reservations are properly managed and honored.
