I hold an RBC Visa card in Nova Scotia, Canada, and I recently noticed a charge of $44.99 on my statement dated December 20, 2025, related to the Hint app. I did not knowingly authorize this payment and was not aware that such a subscription existed or was being billed to my card. Once I noticed the charge, I went into the Hint app and cancelled the subscription directly there. However, because I did not knowingly approve these payments, I am concerned that there may have been an unauthorized subscription or an unintentional activation that I was not properly informed about. I am requesting a full refund of the $44.99 charged on December 20, 2025, and that my RBC Visa card be protected against any further charges from the Hint app. I also ask that this situation be investigated so I can understand how this charge was initiated without my clear consent.
