Charges From Hint App On My PayPal Account
On Friday, December 19th, 2025, a charge of $29.99 was made to my PayPal account by a merchant listed as “Hint app.” I do not know which product or subscription this charge is for, and I was not aware that I would be billed this amount. I have used a Hint service in the past, but I am not aware of any active subscription or any clear notice that I would be charged $29.99 on this date. When I contacted PayPal about this transaction, they told me to get in touch directly with Hint, but I do not know which contact channel, email, or support page I should use to reach the correct department. I request that this $29.99 charge be investigated, that I be informed clearly what it is for, and that the amount be refunded if it was taken without my explicit consent or without clear notice. I also ask that any active subscription linked to my details be canceled, and that I be given clear instructions on how to avoid any future unexpected charges.
