HDI Insurance Demanded Repayment Through Legal Threat Without Prior Notice
HDI Insurance made a payment to me on 01.08.2024. Yesterday, they called and demanded the repayment of that amount via legal action. The lawyer who contacted me directly from the law office, without any prior notice or explanation, spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I were a problematic customer. It feels like I'm being treated unfairly. First, they send me the money 38 days late, then they ask for it back through a law office. The legal process is 90 days, and of course, it begins after official notification, but for HDI Insurance to assume everyone is ignorant and act superior is unacceptable. I have no intention of renewing my contract that expires this month. The call was made on 19.09.2024 at 13:10 from the number 0532 162 ** **. Why didn’t HDI’s customer service inform me about this? Instead, I get a call from the legal department, speaking in a threatening manner.
You were supposed to get back to me before I wrote the complaint about lies and deceit, but there has still been no response. Solution: 0
