I’ve been locked out of my Hay Day account, even though I’m certain I entered the correct password. When I tried the “forgot password” option, the verification code never arrived in my email. The system says there’s no Supercell ID linked to my email, but when I attempt to create a new account, it says that there is already a Supercell ID tied to this email. To make things worse, my account has been hacked and is actively being played, as I’ve seen from friends in my neighborhood.
I contacted support and provided every detail they asked for—the farm numbers, neighborhood tag, player ID, farm name, and even the devices I’ve used to play the game. Despite all this, they said they couldn’t verify that the account is mine. Then they said they’d send a code to my phone, but if my account has been hacked and my email changed, do they really think my phone number would be left intact?
It’s beyond frustrating dealing with what seems to be a robotic support system with zero human intervention. It’s clear they have no idea how to recover my account. I’m thankful it’s just a game account, but I can’t imagine how disastrous it would be if this were something more important.
