About a month ago, I made and paid for a reservation through HalalBooking.com. However, when I recently checked the same reservation on your website, I noticed that the current price is lower due to a discount.
Following this, I contacted your customer service team via your website to request a refund for the price difference on my existing booking.
In the first email I received from your team (attached), your instructions clearly stated that I should cancel my current reservation, then make a new one, and that after payment, I should contact you again so that the difference between the two prices would be refunded to me.
Before proceeding with the cancellation, I called your customer service line and explained the situation. During that call, I was told not to cancel the reservation, and that the matter would be reviewed and I would be contacted afterward.
However, I was disappointed to later receive a second email from your team stating that you could not process the refund for the price difference.
Throughout this process, I acted in good faith and followed your team’s guidance. The fact that the first email contained a clear commitment which was then contradicted in the second email has damaged my trust and caused inconvenience.
Please note that my request does not relate to any other site’s prices, but strictly to the updated pricing on HalalBooking.com itself. I do not wish to cancel my reservation. I am simply requesting that my booking be recalculated based on the updated rate and that the price difference be refunded to me.
I believe the statement provided in your first email is binding, and that this situation should be reconsidered in the interest of customer satisfaction and transparency.
Otherwise, please be informed that I reserve all my legal rights regarding this issue to seek resolution through formal means if necessary.
I respectfully request that you review my case and provide a prompt resolution.
