Greenmotion Car Rental Deposit Refund Is Still Missing
Between July 31 and August 16, I rented a Renault Megane with license plate 34 HKL 903 from Greenmotion’s Dalaman office through o.bilet.com. The reservation was listed under Dalaman Airport, with o.bilet.com invoice number oka2026000159098, reservation number 17B5F1DB12F6, and rental record number rnt-669745. At the time of the rental, I paid a €200 cash deposit in person.
On August 16, I returned the vehicle to the same Greenmotion office in Dalaman in the same condition in which I received it, with no damage or additional charges reported. At the time of return, I was not informed of any deduction from the deposit, no additional charges were mentioned, and I was told that the deposit would be refunded. However, the €200 cash deposit has still not been returned to me.
During this process, I have contacted Greenmotion, the company from which I rented the vehicle, numerous times, particularly through the phone number +90 ***********50 and via WhatsApp. Each time, I have only been given vague responses and delays, without receiving any concrete update or explanation. At the same time, although I rented the vehicle through o.bilet.com, o.bilet.com does not consider itself responsible and has completely distanced itself from the matter, stating that “the deposit is not our responsibility and the rental company is responsible.”
Since I made the reservation through o.bilet.com, I expect the platform to stand behind the companies it partners with and take responsibility for helping resolve this issue by following up with Greenmotion. I am requesting that my €200 deposit, which was collected without any information about additional charges or deductions, be refunded to my account without further delay and in full, except for any legitimately incurred toll charges or traffic fines and their legally applicable amounts, if any. For any deduction that is made, I also request that the relevant invoices and supporting documents be provided to me clearly and in writing. I expect o.bilet.com to actively intervene in this matter and help provide a resolution.
