Gotogate Fails to Fix Name Error and Leaves Ticket Unconfirmed

In November, I purchased round-trip tickets to Tokyo for March 12 with China Southern Airlines through Gotogate for myself and my daughter. At the beginning of January, I noticed that there was a one-letter typo in my last name, and around January 9, I immediately contacted Gotogate to request a correction. I was told that the issue would be fixed within 10 days at the latest.

More than a month and a half has passed since then. During this time, I called Gotogate at least 7–8 times. Each time, I was told that there was no issue, that the process would be completed, and that delays were due to high volume. However, as of today, my flight is only 9 days away, and there is still no confirmed ticket—my reservation does not even appear in the system. I have already paid for my hotel and arranged my entire trip around this flight, yet the uncertainty continues.

At one point, the airline was contacted, and they stated that my reservation could not be found because my passport details were not recorded. When I relayed this to Gotogate, they continued to say that the issue was due to the last name error and that it was still being corrected, but no concrete progress has been made. Currently, due to the ongoing war situation, I am unable to reach them at all and cannot find any point of contact.

I want to be able to travel on my planned dates with my daughter on the same flights I originally purchased. I request that the typo in my last name be corrected immediately, that my reservation be finalized and my tickets confirmed, and that my issue be resolved. Due to this experience, I do not plan to use Gotogate again and would not recommend it to anyone around me.
