Google One Charged Me Without a Subscription
Google One has charged me money even though I never subscribed to the service and never even installed the app on my phone. I was completely unaware of this transaction until I checked my bank account. I immediately canceled my card and filed a dispute with my bank, but to my frustration, the bank rejected my request.
This is absolutely unacceptable. I didn’t authorize any payments, and I don’t use Google One at all. I have no idea how they accessed my card information or why they are charging me for something I never signed up for. If this happened to me, it’s very likely it’s happening to others as well—and many people might not even notice.
Google needs to address this situation urgently. There should be a clear and accessible way for users to see what services they’re subscribed to and to contest any unauthorized payments. I demand a full refund of the amount withdrawn and a thorough explanation of how this happened. This kind of unauthorized billing undermines trust and needs to stop immediately.
