On February 14, 2025, I attempted to process a tax refund through Global Blue at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, but the experience was extremely disappointing. In particular, the customs officer in uniform without glasses was rude, dismissive, and openly mocking. Even though I asked questions in English, he deliberately responded only in German and made no effort to assist me. The staff on the lower level behaved no differently. In contrast, the employees in the blue-labeled section on the balcony were helpful, but I was unable to access that unit because I could not obtain the necessary documents due to the earlier obstruction, and the process became completely blocked. As my flight departure time was approaching, I tried repeatedly between approximately 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to resolve the issue, but when no solution was provided, I was forced to place all my documents in a bag and drop them into the metal collection box on site. I currently have photographs of all my documents, but I cannot even find a direct email address to contact Global Blue. After seeing online complaints stating that phone calls are not answered, I did not even attempt to call, which has completely damaged my trust in the company. I had previously heard that a friend experienced a similar issue in Italy, and I did not expect the same situation in Germany, yet I encountered the same disappointment. I request that Global Blue investigate this matter, provide me with a written response, and share a direct email address where I can contact them. I have photographs of all my documents and request that, once provided with an email address, I be allowed to submit them so that my tax refund process can be reevaluated.
