Refund For 699 Hong Kong Vcreation Scam
I discovered a charge of 699 on my GCash account on 4 October 2026 for “HONG KONG VCREATION CLOUD TECHNOLOGY LIMITED” even though I never subscribed to or knowingly used any app or website related to this merchant. I double-checked all my Google subscriptions and payment history and there is no subscription or service under this name or anything connected to it. I also did not receive any email receipt for this payment, although for all my other subscriptions and payments I always receive an email confirmation in addition to the GCash receipt. In this case there is only the GCash transaction, which makes this charge look very suspicious and like part of an ongoing scam issue involving this merchant. When I contacted GCash, I clearly explained that I did not authorize this subscription, that there is no Google subscription under this merchant, and that there was no email receipt. Despite this, I was simply advised to contact the merchant and ask for a refund, but there is no practical way to reach this “Hong Kong VCreation” and GCash did not take responsibility or provide any effective solution. As a result, 699 has been taken from my account for a service I never subscribed to and cannot cancel or contact. I request that GCash urgently investigate this unauthorized transaction, recognize that this merchant is not shown in my active subscriptions and that I did not approve this payment, and issue a full refund of the 699 amount to my GCash account. I also expect GCash to ensure that this merchant can no longer charge my account in the future and to take this type of scam seriously, instead of passing all responsibility to a merchant that customers cannot even contact.
