Gate.io Xen Investment Dropped From Over $10,000 to $0.97

I had trusted Gate.io with my personal assets for more than a year, holding more than $10,000 that I had saved through my hard work. Without any transparent, concrete, or technical explanation, the value of my assets was systematically reduced overnight to approximately $0.97. I had made a long-term investment in a token called XEN on my Gate.io account and had placed gradual sell orders at prices above 200%. However, citing low trading volume, the transactions that took place during this process effectively reduced my balance to almost zero, causing my assets to disappear.

This situation means that a user’s hard-earned money and assets have effectively been wiped out in this manner, which I believe is completely contrary to common sense, financial ethics, and fundamental principles of trust in the global financial system. I am openly warning anyone who has invested or is considering investing on Gate.io: protect your funds, because you could very easily become the next person affected by what I believe is this systematic injustice.

For days, I have contacted every available channel in an attempt to resolve this situation. Despite repeatedly contacting Gate.io’s support team by email, the company has maintained complete institutional silence as if nothing had happened, leaving me to deal with the consequences on my own. Being unable to find anyone who will properly address my case and seeing my hard-earned assets treated this way has caused me and my family significant emotional distress and a deep sense of helplessness. Users’ rights and trust should not be disregarded so easily.

To demonstrate that I will not back down in the face of this lack of accountability, I submitted my formal legal notice and final warning in English to the exchange’s global management and compliance departments. I am not asking Gate.io for a favor or charity; I am demanding the immediate and full return of my personal assets worth more than $10,000, which I believe were wrongfully taken from me, under Case #1621625.

Even if it takes years, I will continue to make this alleged injustice and the user grievance I have experienced known throughout global and local financial communities and on social media. I request that the Gate.io Türkiye team immediately put an end to this lack of accountability, escalate Case #1621625 to senior management without further delay, and return the assets that rightfully belong to me. I will not give up this fight until I believe justice has been served.
