I had been holding 18,000 XRPL5 coins on Gate.io for a long time. However, one day when I checked my account, I discovered that the balance had suddenly dropped to just 18 coins—without any email or SMS notification. During this time, I was only accessing my account from my personal phone, and this issue occurred exclusively with this coin.
When I reviewed my transaction history, I found no explanation or record of what happened. At the same time, I also noticed that the price of XRPL5 showed an unusual spike from $0.040000 to $9.40000, which made the situation even more suspicious.
Because of this unauthorized and unexplained transaction, I suffered a massive financial loss of approximately $162,000. When I contacted Gate.io customer support, I only received automated bot replies, and no real solution was provided to me.
