I want to address an issue I've had with Garanti Bank. About a month ago, I paid off my credit card debt early. However, the following month, an unexpected charge appeared in my account. I was told that I needed to notify them about the early payment; otherwise, interest would continue to accrue on the uncalculated debt. I find this situation unacceptable. I've requested a resolution to the matter, but my discussions with representatives have been fruitless. Therefore, I'm sharing this with the public in the hope of resolving the issue. If necessary actions aren't taken, I intend to file complaints against the bank through the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) and the Presidential Communication Center (CİMER). I hope for improvements in banking practices. I trust that my concerns will be taken into account, as I have much to say about the bank's practices.
