Approximately one month ago, Garanti Bank unilaterally terminated our business partnership and, after this decision, blocked my access to all banking applications and my credit card so that I could no longer use them. Despite this, the bank demanded that I pay, in a single lump sum, the debts of my products and services that were previously on installments. Since I could not pay the full amount at once, I fell into arrears, and my debt, which was ₺37,700, was collected from me as ₺42,000 when I went to pay it 10 days later. About one month after this payment, ₺13,700 was refunded to my closed credit card due to insurance cancellation. When I went to the Kütahya Tavşanlı branch, I was informed that this amount had been credited, but only ₺6,000 appeared as “Artı Para” on my card. No one provided any explanation regarding the remaining ₺7,000 difference. The customer service line stated that I no longer had any relationship with the bank and therefore could not assist me, and the branch staff said they did not know either and suggested that I submit my complaint through platforms such as complaint applications. I am formally complaining about Garanti Bank for this non-transparent and victimizing process. I request that the ₺7,000 difference arising from the insurance refund be clearly and in writing explained to me, and if it has been unfairly withheld or offset without my knowledge, that this amount be immediately refunded to me and all transactions and calculations regarding my closed credit card and debts be reviewed in detail.
