Garanti BBVA Allowed Facebook Charges on My Bonus Card Without Asking for a Code
On the night of April 4, 2025, while unauthorized transactions in IDR and EUR currencies were being made from my Garanti Bonus credit card under the name of Facebook, I contacted the bank and had my card cancelled. I had not initiated any of these transactions and was shocked to see multiple charges going through without my knowledge. While I am normally required to enter a security code for even the smallest purchase, I was not asked for any code during these transactions. This raises serious concerns about the security of my credit card information and the bank's fraud detection measures. I have also submitted a formal dispute regarding the transactions and expect a thorough investigation. I request that this issue, which has caused me financial inconvenience, be resolved.
