Gamermarkt Demands $28 Compensation for a League of Legends Account

About a month ago, on August 28, I listed my League of Legends account for sale on the Gamermarkt website for $12. After the sale, I received only $10 in payment. Some time later, I learned that the account had been penalized as part of a ban wave carried out by Riot Games for boosting.

Today, when I logged into my Gamermarkt account, I saw that I was being charged $28 under the name of “compensation” and was warned that I needed to pay this amount. As a seller who sold the account for $12 and received only $10 from the sale, I absolutely do not accept being asked to pay a much higher amount. Furthermore, since the account was penalized as a result of Riot Games' own policies and enforcement process, it is not fair to place the entire risk and financial burden of this situation on the seller.

I submitted an objection through the support messaging system on the website, but I have not received any response for approximately one hour. I believe I have been seriously disadvantaged both by being charged a “compensation” amount that is significantly higher than the original sale price and by the lack of communication from Gamermarkt.

I request that the $28 compensation charge demanded by Gamermarkt be canceled, that the debt shown on my account be completely removed, and that Gamermarkt review practices that place sellers in such a difficult position in situations like this.
