I am writing to report an issue with the Apple CarPlay connectivity in my 2023 Ford Puma. When I try to connect my phone via cable to Apple CarPlay, the connection is inconsistent—it sometimes works and other times it doesn’t. This problem occurs specifically when attempting to connect via cable, as there is no Bluetooth option available.
When CarPlay fails to connect, I have to repeatedly plug and unplug the cable, and eventually, it connects randomly. If it doesn’t connect at all, I remove Apple CarPlay from the Ford electronic screen settings and attempt to reconnect the phone. However, this usually doesn’t resolve the issue. I have tried using different phones and cables, but the results are always the same.
Interestingly, when I use the same phone and cable in another Ford Puma, the connection works flawlessly on the first attempt. My vehicle is still under warranty, and I need guidance on how to address this issue. I am seeking your support on what steps I can take to resolve this problem.
