Flynas Canceled My Riyadh–Istanbul Flight and Delayed Me by Over 6 Hours
I am writing to report a serious travel disruption involving my Flynas ticket purchased through Enuygun.com for the Madinah–Riyadh–Istanbul route.
Shortly before travel, I was informed that the second segment of my journey, the Riyadh–Istanbul (SAW) flight, had been canceled. As a result, my originally scheduled flight, which was due to depart at 08:45 in the morning, was changed to a new departure time of 15:25.
This change created a delay of approximately 6 hours and 40 minutes compared to my original itinerary. In addition to the lengthy delay, I was also informed that my destination airport had been changed. Instead of arriving at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which was the airport I originally booked and planned for, I was reassigned to arrive at Istanbul Airport.
This unexpected airport change has created a significant inconvenience because Istanbul Airport is approximately 65 kilometers farther from my home than Sabiha Gökçen Airport. As a result, I now face additional travel time, transportation difficulties, and extra expenses that were not part of my original travel plans.
What has made the situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of communication and support. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to reach either Enuygun.com or Flynas to obtain information, assistance, or alternative solutions regarding this disruption.
As a passenger, I booked and paid for a specific itinerary with a specific arrival airport. A delay of more than six hours combined with a forced airport change represents a substantial alteration to the transportation service that I purchased.
I respectfully request a clear written explanation regarding the cancellation of the Riyadh–Istanbul flight, the reason for the airport change, and the passenger rights applicable to this situation. I also request appropriate compensation for the significant delay, the disruption to my travel plans, and the additional costs and inconvenience caused by being rerouted to a different airport.
I expect both Flynas and Enuygun.com to address this matter promptly and provide a fair resolution.
