Fly Dubai Denies Responsibility for Damaged Luggage After Dubai–Istanbul Flight

At the end of my flight with flydubai from Dubai to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport on October 29, 2025, I noticed that my suitcase was severely damaged, with one side crushed inward. I immediately filed a report at the airport and was given case number SAWFZ15055/29OCT25/1217GMT. Following the staff’s instructions, I emailed flydubai with photos of the damaged suitcase attached.

However, I was informed that the damage to my suitcase was not considered the airline’s responsibility. After that response, I received no replies at all to my follow-up emails. To date, I have not been contacted by phone or through any other channel either.

My suitcase was new, I have the purchase receipt, and its value is approximately $55. For this reason, I am requesting reimbursement for the full cost of my suitcase to resolve this issue. I am expecting an urgent response regarding this matter.
