Flalingo Refused to Cancel Pending Credit Card Charge and Posted USD Debt

On February 5, 2026, I made an education-related payment through Flalingo in the amount of $514 USD using my credit card. I was clearly informed that this purchase was for educational services and that the transaction would be processed in Turkish Lira. However, despite this information, the charge was posted to my credit card in U.S. dollars instead.
The transaction appeared as a pending authorization on my World credit card and remained in pending status for more than 96 hours. Yesterday, I spoke with two different Flalingo representatives and specifically requested that the transaction be canceled while it was still pending. Despite my request, the pending transaction was not canceled and was instead finalized and posted to my card as a USD charge.
Because Flalingo processed the transaction in USD contrary to their prior statement that it would be processed in TL, and because they failed to cancel the charge while it was still pending despite my explicit request, I have suffered financial harm. I demand that my membership be canceled immediately and that the full amount wrongfully charged in USD be refunded to my card based on the originally stated TL amount.
