Constant Breakdowns on My New Fiat Egea Sedan
I traded in my car at Izmir Poyraz Auto in late April 2023 (they sold my trade-in for 120,000 TL and priced the new car at 350,000 TL) and purchased a Fiat Egea Sedan 1.6 DCT Urban model. To my chagrin, the car completely broke down on my first long-distance trip (to Manisa Akhisar), with all of the warning lights flashing. I went to a nearby service center, but they dismissed the problem, fixed the problems, and sent me on my way. The same issues arose during the Eid al-Adha holiday in Istanbul, causing me and my family embarrassment. When I returned to Izmir, I noticed an oil leak from the engine's underside and immediately called Poyraz Autoservice, where I had purchased the car. Despite the low mileage and the fact that the vehicle was only 1.5 months old when I requested a replacement, they advised me to contact their headquarters. I dialed (444 22 55) to make my request, but received no response or message. My car was repaired without any further communication, much to my dismay. They're putting pressure on me by saying, "Come and pick it up," as if everything has been settled. It's incredible that a brand-new car I just bought is already having so many problems with no service records opened or proper communication from the headquarters. They appear to be saying, "We sold you the car; deal with it."
