Manufacturing Defect on Fairy Platinum Detergent Batch Renders Capsules Unusable
On August 18, 2026, I purchased a package of Fairy Platinum dishwasher capsules manufactured by P&G through the Migros Hemen application during a promotional discount. Upon opening the packaging, I discovered that the vast majority of the capsules were fused and stuck together, rendering them impossible to separate without rupturing the detergent casing.
Although the package explicitly advertises a quantity of 30 capsules intended for 30 wash cycles, only 5 to 6 individual capsules could be salvaged. The remaining capsules are completely stuck together and unusable, resulting in an immediate loss of utility and value. I suspect this degraded batch was distributed specifically through discounted sales channels to clear defective inventory.
Selling defective, clumped consumer goods violates basic quality standards and consumer protection regulations regarding merchantable quality.
I demand that P&G and Migros Hemen resolve this issue by either delivering a fresh, non-defective replacement package from a different production batch or issuing a full refund of the purchase price
