Fairy Dishwasher Tablets Leave Strong Spice Odor – Regretting My Purchase

Despite my dishwasher being only two months old, using Fairy dishwasher tablets has left it with an overpowering spicy smell that just won’t go away, even after running empty cycles. We don’t consume heavy spices, and I always rinse dishes before loading, so this smell shouldn’t be an issue. I never had this problem with Finish tablets, but decided to try Fairy since it was on sale. Now I understand why it was discounted – the odor is unbearable.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I regret switching brands. I’d like Fairy to address this issue or offer a solution, as I’m left with an unpleasant smell every time I use my dishwasher.
