Etihad Airways Website Error Prevents Us From Buying Extra Baggage
We purchased Seoul–Istanbul tickets with Etihad Airways, but since our fare did not include baggage, we tried to buy additional baggage allowance directly from the airline’s website. Unfortunately, the site constantly shows an error and will not process the purchase.
To resolve the issue, we downloaded the mobile app, tried different browsers, and even attempted to access the site from different countries. We even went as far as visiting the Etihad office in Seoul, but the problem was still not resolved. After days of trying, we are still unable to purchase extra baggage.
This raises serious concerns: is Etihad deliberately failing to fix the website so passengers are forced to pay higher fees at the airport instead? Such practices are unfair and leave customers feeling tricked.
I demand that Etihad fix its website and mobile app immediately so passengers can purchase extra baggage in advance at the correct price, not be forced into unnecessary extra charges at the airport.
