eSIM Io Reduced My Speed to 2 Mbps Before 5 GB
I purchased the 5-day “Unlimited Daily” Europe internet package through eSIM Io. The package details clearly stated, “5 GB/day at high speed and unlimited internet, speed continues at 2 Mbps after the data limit is reached, and the allowance automatically renews every day.” However, while using this package in Brussels, Belgium, on September 25, my connection speed was reduced to 2 Mbps even though I had used only 1.53 GB of data that day. The app displayed a message stating, “Due to daily fair usage limits, your internet speed has been changed to 2 Mbps.”
According to the advertised terms of the package, the daily high-speed limit should be 5 GB, and I do not accept having my speed reduced to 2 Mbps before reaching 5 GB. The package details screen in the app clearly states that I have 5 GB of high-speed data per day, while my usage screen shows that I had used only 1.53 GB on the day in question. In addition, the “Plan Details” section clearly states that the service includes 5 GB of high-speed data per day, followed by unlimited internet at 2 Mbps. Therefore, I request that you thoroughly investigate whether this was a system error and provide me with a detailed explanation.
I request that the service I purchased be provided according to the advertised terms, that my speed not be restricted before I reach my daily 5 GB high-speed allowance, and that the current speed restriction be removed. Please review my case under reference number ebukgd9 so that my line can be easily located in your systems. I have also attached screenshots showing the package details, plan information, and my usage data as evidence. If this discrepancy is not resolved, I expect a clear explanation and solution regarding how the difference between the service I purchased and the service actually provided to me will be compensated.
