eSIM Io Unlimited Internet Was Not Actually Unlimited
I purchased a 10-day unlimited internet package through eSIM Io for my trip around the Balkans and activated the line on September 23. I specifically chose this service because the package was advertised as unlimited, but by the end of the second day, my internet speed had dropped so dramatically that I could barely establish a connection.
While I was in Tirana, Albania, after traveling through Serbia and North Macedonia, the internet was so slow that apps and websites would not load, making the service practically unusable. I contacted customer support, and they told me that my speed had been reduced because I had exceeded a daily usage limit and that the limit would reset at the end of each day. However, when I purchased the package, there was no mention of any daily data limit or speed reduction beyond the “10-day unlimited” description.
I do not accept that a package sold as unlimited can become practically unusable because of a hidden daily data limit and speed restriction. I believe I was misled because these limitations were not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. I request that this issue be resolved, that I receive a full refund for the package, and that the package terms be revised to clearly and transparently disclose any restrictions so users are not misled.
