Equifax Identity Theft Services Failed Me With Delays And Glitches
I did everything your website said to do about stopping identity theft, back on April 15th, saw some weird stuff happening with my bank account. Super freaked, called them right away and they told me to put a fraud alert on my credit report and freeze it with all three bureaus, you guys included, made an account on myEquifax to get this done ASAP. things got messy, first, it took way too long for that fraud alert to actually show up. This whole time I'm worried someone might steal my identity again! Then, trying to freeze my report with Lock & AlertTM took a long time as well, it was confusing and the website wouldn't even let me do it for a few days because of some glitch. identity theft is a big deal, and honestly, Equifax, your support for folks going through this is just not good enough. I followed your "ID Theft Checklist" exactly, but I felt totally unsupported and scared the whole time.
