Epic Games Account Hacked, Support Refuses to Help
My Epic Games account was hacked yesterday, but I didn't realize till later because I was working. My email address was also compromised and disconnected from my Epic Games account. The account was linked to a new email address belonging to a user named P... C, who has an IP address in Moscow.
I sent an email to an Epic Games employee named Stormblade, outlining the problem and providing all of the facts I could remember. The account is really old and has seen a lot of activity throughout the years. Even though I was using my phone rather than my PC, I submitted all of the documents and information that I had received via email.
However, Stormblade determined that I was not the account's owner. I'm not sure how they came to this choice. I can offer details on all the IP addresses used to access the account. I forwarded all of the IDs and invoices I received via email. It is really troubling that they believe it is usual for an account containing payments from Istanbul, Turkey, to be transferred to Moscow. Is this your understanding of security and customer service?
Isn't it a pity if transactions continue to be made using my card? All of the money I spent on Fortnite will be squandered. I can't get back what is mine. It seems like a joke...
If I need to sit down and count the games on the account or the expenses I made on Fortnite one by one, I'll do that too... But I want my account back. And Epic Games is responsible for everything they will do with the account... It's so easy, just hack and steal, and you watch... As if it's something you haven't experienced with a million customers, I'm going to go crazy...
The guys have even logged out from help@epicgames... Why would I do such a thing as the account owner... If you look at the Twitch connection confirmation date, you'll see how old it is...
my all thanks goes to Lavander from epicgames support team. god bless him/her...helped me realy so much..
No matter how much I thank the Epic Games support team member with the nickname Lavander, it wouldn't be enough. They listened, understood, and helped... It's still very nice to see someone doing their job properly...
