Enpara Double Charges Restructured Credit Card Debt Due to System Lag
On August 31, 2026, at 11:49 AM, I restructured my credit card debt of $573 through Enpara customer service/system. Following this transaction, my first installment due date was set for September 25, 2026, and I received an informational SMS containing the installment details. On the same day, August 31, 2026, at 6:04 PM, an automatic collection was made from my checking account under the label "overdue card debt" using incoming funds. Even though the restructuring agreement was finalized as of 11:49 AM, the bank's system failed to update, leading to another hold placed on my account and the debt being collected later that day.
As a result, the debt was collected directly from my account while I was simultaneously burdened with unnecessary interest fees due to the restructuring. Despite reaching out to the bank, no steps have been taken to refund the amount debited from my account, nor has the restructuring been canceled or corrected.
I believe I have been wronged and forced into an unfair interest burden caused entirely by a delay in the bank's system updates. Therefore, I demand the cancellation of the credit card restructuring completed on August 31, 2026, at 11:49 AM, the removal of all current and future interest and fees originating from this restructuring, and the correction of my credit card status to reflect the actual balance, given that my debt has already been collected from my account. Otherwise, I will escalate this matter—along with all transaction receipts and timestamps—to the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BDDK) and the Banking Association of Turkey Individual Customer Arbitration Panel.
