My eBay Seller Refused a Return and eBay Ignored My Emails

8

About two months ago, I purchased a product from eBay, but it was held at customs, and I was given no option other than returning it. I agreed to return the product, but the seller refused to accept it, even though I offered to cover all additional costs.

I then contacted eBay Customer Service, and they asked me to provide documents. I sent them all the necessary files, including the relevant customs regulations, lists of restricted items, and my correspondence with the seller. After one or two emails, I started dealing with different representatives each time, and no one provided a real solution. Eventually, they stopped responding to my emails altogether.

I at least wanted to leave feedback about the experience, but even my neutral and non-offensive comment was deleted or never published. It appears that eBay protects or collaborates with sellers who engage in such practices.

I’m writing this complaint as a warning so that others know what can happen and avoid having the same experience when shopping on this platform.
