Automatic Renewal of EA Plus on PS App—Refund Request Denied Despite Cancellation

I purchased a 12-month EA Plus membership through the PS App last year. This year, it automatically renewed because I didn’t cancel the subscription. I contacted PlayStation support to request a cancellation and refund, but they informed me that they cannot refund the renewal, only the initial purchase, as it is a third-party subscription. I’m now stuck paying for a subscription I won’t use for an entire year, and my issue hasn’t been resolved, even though I requested the refund within the 14-day period.
