Hello. I sent in my Dyson V12 vacuum for warranty repair due to visible peeling on the purple parts. Even though the serial number is clearly printed on the battery, they rejected the service request saying the serial number was missing. I had to ship it again after receiving an email from them, insisting it was now valid. But this isn't the first time — last year I sent it in and they just cleaned it and returned it, saying no action was necessary.
This time, they didn’t even bother to service it. I’ve now been without a vacuum for over two weeks, and I’m beyond frustrated. The shipping took 5 full days just to arrive, and the device sat there through the entire holiday break. As soon as the holiday ended, they shipped it back to me without any resolution. I have no idea how many more days I’ll have to wait for it to come back, and I’m genuinely concerned about the condition it’ll return in.
I’m disappointed in both Dyson and their shipping partner Kolay Gelsin. The level of service I’ve received is simply unacceptable for a premium brand. If Dyson can’t resolve a basic cosmetic warranty issue after multiple attempts, then what’s the point of offering a warranty at all? I’ll be posting again once the product arrives — let’s see what state it’s in. So far, Dyson has been nothing but regret.
