I own a Dyson V15 cordless vacuum, and there’s a consistent issue with it that I can't get resolved. Every time I use it, a visible burn mark forms inside the dust bin—specifically in the area where dust enters the container. I’ve cleaned the vacuum thoroughly, but even after just one use, the mark reappears.

I contacted Dyson support and opened a service request. They had me send the device in via courier. But after inspecting it, they simply returned it saying the issue doesn't affect functionality and therefore no repair or replacement was necessary. That response is extremely frustrating and unacceptable.

I personally know people who use the exact same model and none of them have experienced anything like this. If it were normal, I would see it across other devices too—but I don’t. This clearly points to a defect or issue specific to my unit. Just because it’s not currently blocking usage doesn’t mean it won’t lead to further damage down the line.

I’ve even included photos to clearly show the discoloration and residue. Dyson needs to take this seriously, investigate the cause, and offer a proper resolution. I expect my complaint to be handled with the attention it deserves.
