I Face Recurring Power Loss on My Dyson V10 Vacuum After Body Replacement Under Warranty

I bought a Dyson V10 cordless vacuum from MediaMarkt in November 2022. Since we already had a corded Dyson model at home, this one wasn’t used heavily. Still, within the first year, the vacuum began cutting power mid-use—even when the power button was fully pressed. Dyson acknowledged the issue and replaced the body under warranty.

Unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved—it was just delayed. After the body replacement, the vacuum would still occasionally lose power, but I ignored it since it continued working most of the time. Now, just over a year later and with the warranty expired, the vacuum has become practically unusable. It shuts off every 10–15 seconds, making it impossible to clean properly.

I contacted Dyson customer service via video call and explained the situation. They confirmed the problem is with the body again and said I would need to pay ₺3800 to have it serviced. This is incredibly unfair. The issue is clearly chronic, and the first repair simply masked the problem until the warranty ran out.

I paid a premium price for this vacuum, and I didn’t even get two full years of proper use. Dyson, you need to take responsibility for known design flaws and provide a permanent solution—not just temporary fixes that expire with the warranty. I request that this issue be resolved without charging me for a second body replacement. This is not what customers expect from a brand like Dyson.
