The real problem began when I tried to purchase a new battery. I was told it’s out of stock and that no one can give me a clear estimate on when it will be available again. Apparently, Dyson’s “technology centers abroad” haven’t provided a shipping date, so I’m left in limbo. It’s shocking that a global tech company like Dyson doesn’t have an automatic restock system for a basic, critical part like a battery.
I chose this model specifically because the battery was removable, thinking it would be easy to replace in the future. Instead, I’ve been stuck for weeks without a vacuum and without answers. Had I been given even a rough timeline, I could have planned accordingly—or bought another vacuum (which at this point, will not be Dyson).
