I purchased my Dyson V12 vacuum cleaner about a year ago. Recently, the dust bin has started to let in air, and the edges of the bin have begun to peel. The air leakage and visible deformation are concerning for me both in terms of usage and overall quality.
When I contacted Dyson customer service, I was told that the issues were “not obstructive to use,” and both the air leakage and the peeling edges were dismissed without any action being taken. Experiencing these types of problems in such a short time—and not receiving any support despite that—has been very disappointing.
I request that my product be evaluated under warranty and that the air leakage issue and peeling edges on the dust bin be repaired. If repair is not possible, I ask that the product be replaced so that this inconvenience can be resolved.
