In April, I purchased my Dyson V12 directly from dyson.com. Soon after, I noticed that the dust bin would not close completely. I contacted Dyson and, after confirming the issue via a video call, they sent me a replacement bin. However, the new bin was even worse than the original. When I called again, they told me these parts are removable and that the problem was “normal” and would improve with use.

I have now been using the vacuum for about four months, and the problem has only gotten worse — dust has started leaking out. I contacted Dyson again, another video call was made, and a service request was created. Later, I was told that they could only send me a replacement for a fee.

This is unacceptable, especially since they have the original video evidence showing the defect from the very first day. I request that Dyson replace the defective dust bin free of charge and take responsibility for a product fault that clearly originated from them.

They said that a paid shipment could be arranged again regarding the tank. They called just to say this. The quality of Dyson customer service has dropped incredibly. The biggest attraction of it being so expensive was customer satisfaction. They've ruined it.
