Dyson V11 Vacuum Battery Replacement Delay


I reached out to the authorized service center after the warranty on my Dyson V11 vacuum had expired. I was put on a live call where they immediately started a video chat and told me that my battery was defective. They insisted that I should buy battery number 970145-06. We agreed, but unfortunately, we're unable to get the product at the moment since it's currently unavailable. Is it gonna get here in a month or five? It's up in the air. Is it worth getting a spare vacuum? Someone in my household has asthma. I couldn't find a solution through their customer service or online resources. Currently, it looks like my only choice is to purchase a brand-new vacuum. If I had known there might be problems with getting spare parts, I wouldn't have purchased this vacuum. I would have opted for a different brand that is known for its reliability. It's just frustrating that I didn't get the product I paid for or any information about when I could pick it up from the service center within 20 days. Hopefully, we'll have the battery in stock within a year, and we can get it then.

They took the matter very seriously. They called and said they don't know when the battery will arrive... It feels like a waste of money, as if I bought a Chinese product. The battery is dead and I can't buy a new one. I feel humiliated despite spending my money.

There is no solution or anything... It's a pity.
