Dyson Refused Warranty for My V15 Detect Bought Abroad Despite Prior Assurance
I purchased the Dyson V15 Detect cordless upright vacuum cleaner from Romania. Before buying, I called Dyson to ask if a product purchased abroad would be covered by the warranty in Turkey. They assured me that it would be. Based on this information, I made the purchase. However, I encountered an issue where the vacuum shuts off on its own. I contacted the service center, sent a video, and was told it had a power interruption problem. They claimed that products bought from abroad are not covered by the warranty and demanded a ₺5600 service fee, even though the product is still under warranty. This situation has caused me significant inconvenience. I believe their approach lacks a solution-oriented mindset, and the conflicting statements from customer representatives are unacceptable for a global brand like Dyson. Despite being told that products made abroad are covered by warranty in Turkey, I am now faced with a product that is not being serviced as promised.
Dear Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Your satisfaction is very important to us. You can be assured that we will handle the matter with care. Our solution center representative will contact you as soon as possible to provide support. Sincerely, Dyson Turkey
Dear Customer, We called you via our call center line, but we were unable to reach you. If your request is still active, you can contact us through our call center or via other communication channels. Sincerely, Dyson Turkey
I got back to them, and they said nothing has changed, and they don't guarantee anything. So, is this why you called me? Is your solution to say, "Give me 5600 and I'll repair your device"? Dyson contradicts itself. Dyson is a regret; you pay 2-3 times more and end up being disappointed with your money. I'm saying it again: Dyson is a regret...
"Dyson is a regret."
