I own a Dyson Gen5 vacuum, and the Motorbar brush head pin broke just five months after purchase. Dyson sent a replacement two months later, but the same issue happened again after another five months. I barely use this vacuum—maybe once or twice a week—and it’s not even my main vacuum, yet this part keeps breaking.

Now, Dyson tells me that since I already received one replacement part, I am no longer eligible for any further support within the warranty period. If the same design flaw keeps causing the part to break, why should the customer be blamed instead of Dyson acknowledging the defect and improving the product?

I bought this vacuum based on recommendations, but I regret my purchase. I will not recommend Dyson to anyone after this experience. I am not even asking for a new part—just a proper repair under warranty. Now, one year later, my Dyson Gen5 sits useless at home. Dyson, honor your warranty and fix your defective parts!
